Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens
Stone is a great place to gather with friends and family. We’ve been going there since we moved to town a few years back. We bring the littles, but also get to enjoy a bit of adult time. Food is good, beer is good, restaurant / brewery is beautiful. I miss the old menu that was recently phased out, but still a must visit.

Burger Bench
Burger Bench is a great little spot located in downtown Escondido. It’s
usually busy (which is a good thing), but offers inside and outdoor
seating. It has a lively atmosphere so it’s easy to bring the whole
family. They have great food and even offer breakfast on the weekend
(which was a lifesaver when I was pregnant).

Forgotten Barrel
Forgotten Barrel is actually a winery/tasting room located in a very unlikely spot. I had no idea this place was there until we discovered it one afternoon while driving around. There is a cute rustic outdoor area where the kids can play while mom and dad have a glass of wine (responsibly of course). The wine is good and while I wish they had a regular menu, I’m not above bringing my own snacks.
